• Reversibility, fallback plan and change management alongside your teams.

Deliverables

• Costed decision file and an exit roadmap organised in waves.
• Target platform in production, with migrated and accepted machines.
• Migration reports and a cutover log for each wave.
• Operating procedures for the new platform.

• Yonder — our own cold migration platform for vSphere and ESXi.
• Targets: OpenStack, Proxmox VE, Nutanix AHV, KubeVirt and OpenShift Virtualization.
• Disk conversion, driver adaptation and network configuration mapping.

Engagement terms

Programme run in waves and sized to the number of machines to migrate. Fixed-price engagement, on site or remote.

Phase 1 — Assessment

• Inventory of the virtualised estate and dependency mapping.
• Total cost of ownership analysis and selection of the target platform.

Phase 2 — Preparation

• Deployment of the target platform and of the migration chain.
• Pilot migration and definition of the cutover criteria.

Phase 3 — Migration

• Execution of the migration waves and progress tracking.
• Application acceptance testing and sign-off by the business.

Phase 4 — Closure

• Decommissioning of the former platform.
• Handover to operations and programme review.
