Nutanix AHV and Prism — administering a hyperconverged infrastructure
Nutanix brings compute, storage and virtualization together in a single software-driven building block. This course covers the day-to-day operation of a cluster running the AHV hypervisor, its distributed storage layer and the centralized management consoles.
Training objectives
- Understand the Nutanix architecture and how its storage layer works.
- Administer a cluster through the Prism Element and Prism Central consoles.
- Create and operate virtual machines, images, snapshots and categories.
- Configure AHV networking: virtual switches, VLANs and micro-segmentation.
- Implement data protection, replication and recovery.
- Handle routine operations: upgrades, capacity planning and alerting.

- Non-disruptive cluster upgrades
- Monitoring, alerting, capacity analysis and reporting
