GitLab CE and CI/CD — industrializing collaboration and deployments
GitLab Community Edition brings code management, merge request review, project tracking and continuous integration together in a self-hosted platform. This course covers Git, the platform and building delivery pipelines through to real deployment, with one section devoted to quality and another aimed at team leads.

Day 1 — Git and platform first steps
- Git data model, commits and core commands
- Branches, merging, conflicts, history rewriting and remote synchronization
- GitLab CE: groups, projects, roles and built-in tracking tools
Day 2 — Code review and delivery pipelines
- Merge requests: lifecycle, review and branch protection
- Anatomy of a pipeline: runners, variables, artifacts and cache
- Advanced pipelines: conditional triggering, environments, rollback
Day 3 — Quality, observability and steering
- Code quality and security analysis in the community edition
- Pipeline observability: durations, logs, notifications and reliability
- Automation-driven deployment and project steering for managers
